Fund Raising Campaign

Habersham Homeless Ministries is kicking-off a fund raising campaign to replace aging roofs and make repairs to shelters used to provide emergency housing for single women and families.

Women and Family Shelter

Habersham Homeless Ministry works to eliminate homelessness in Habersham and surrounding counties by providing temporary shelter for women and families in crisis while offering life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.

We offer five shelters in Clarkesville: four family units and two single women’s units.

What Donations Fund

Donations pay utilities, insurance, maintenance, furnishings, food, supplies, and essential needs. We also help clients needs such as birth certificates, IDs, transportation costs, some medical, moving expenses, some clothing. We seek to provide whatever is needed to bring them into self-sufficiency. Donation of items or services, such as the following, are always needed:

  • Towels
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Food
  • Housing Items
  • Paper Products
  • Bedding
